2020 Federal Census Maps

Self-identified race of respondents, by percentage of population

The links on the right lead to maps at the United States Census web site.  Manchester and the surrounding towns are broken down into smaller sub-regions called "census tracts".

The Census provides large .pdf maps detailing the tracts in Hillsborough County 🖻, Merrimack County 🖻, and Rockingham County 🖻.

Respondents who answered...

  • only "American Indian or Alaska Native" 🗺
  • only "Asian" 🗺
  • only "Black" 🗺
  • only "Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander" 🗺
  • only "White" 🗺
  • only "Some Other Race" 🗺
  • Respondents who answered with two or more races 🗺

Zoomable National Maps

  • Hispanic/Latino Origin 🗺—the Census tracks responses separately from race
  • A combined map 🗺 shows the categories above as tabs, with additional combinations
  • The Overall 2020 Census Demographic Data Map Viewer 🗺 includes non-racial information such as overall population density
  • And the Census provides many other interactive maps
  • The EPA's ECHO compliance database provides a way to search for census statistics near some facilities such as hospitals, schools, or post offices.  Enter "manchester nh" to search and in the list of facilities beneath the resulting map, in the "Reports" column you can click on the 🅲 to go to the detailed facility report; at the bottom of that report is a "Demographics" section
