Take Action

Get involved in our activities through our:


  • General Membership Meetings and events (see calendar below): Educate organizations and individuals about the effects of racism, how to benefit from diversity, and provide a place where issues about race & diversity can be discussed 
  • Legal Redress/Criminal Justice Committee: Assist people of color who have encountered discrimination  or have been unjustly treated (e.g. Supporting a Bail Fund and Clinics for those challenged with the Criminal Justice System (Listen to NHPR Story)  
  • Education Committee: Ensure that youth of color are educated how to live in a world where they are not necessarily given the tools to succeed
  • Economic Justice Committee: Assist people of color grow wealth as individuals or as a business.
  • Health Committee: Provides education and advocacy on health issues.
  • Environmental Justice Committee: Provides education and advocacy on the value of caring for the environment and preventing environmental racism.
  • Annual Freedom Fund Dinner Committee : Host our largest fundraiser to celebrate achievements during the year and heroes of the movement.
  • Membership/Communications Committee: Growing our membership and benefits of membership.
  • Legislative Alerts: Make your voice heard, as a citizen, on issues of import to people of color
